TALL PEOPLE STAY OFF OF THE BEACH!

These are some photos of St. Marteen Airport, Dutch/French West Indies. The planes impress most people on the beach, flying over just seconds before touching down at Princess Juliana airport. Paradise for the beach lovers, having a lovely tropical beach, and for the aviation fanatics that spends hours on end observing the very low flying skills of giant commercial plane pilots.

Twelve Boeing 747s operate daily to St. Marteen. The heavy jumbo is the most impressive of all and attracts the looks of everybody around...

one photo, from inside a 747 Air France, shows how close the beginning of the runway is to the road and beach at St. Marteen.

Okay, I will be in Lebanon from Dec 29th through January 9th with some friends.

What all Nacol ("Na-oul") / Moujaes family is in Shweir that I should visit while there? I met a bunch of cousins while there a few years back, but I'm not even sure that they use this website.

Is there anyone in Shweir in the winter?

Very Truly Yours,
Michael Nacol

Michael, you are welcome to visit my parents. You will be visiting home. You know, I am Salim and Nora's nephew.

They live down in Shweir, less than 1/4 mile from the church.

I am not sure if you can make it on a weekend, as everybody will be at work during the week.

I am going to be there over two weekends, and I will probably try and go visit on Saturday the 31st and maybe the 7th. I will be staying about 10 minutes away from Shweir, so I will be very close. Last time I think I met Ghassan and I believe Ghalil (God rest in peace). Ghassan is in the clothing business? I tried to email Ghassan a few times afterwards but I'm not sure the email worked. I would love to get back in touch with him before returning.

Waleed, I would love to meet your parents there; whose son are you? I feel embarrassed asking that! We need a digital online up-to-date family tree with contact info! [Smile]

George, I think I might have met Marlain Habib last time I was there a few years back. any relation to the Habib family here in Houston?

I apprecaite a continued discourse on the family as I prepare for my trip.

Anyone else wanna come?!!? George, Habib, Nabil??? Are Najib and Amal there?

Michael, Do you need a guide while you are there? Boy I would love to do that. It would be nice to do Christmas in Shweir again but it is not in the cards.

I wish you a wonderful trip and hope you find there a "bint jabalieh khooda humr." I will translate after you come back.

Marlyn is the sister of Habib. We are closely related to them on both sides. Their mother is a Nacol and their father is Gabriel--two branches of the Moujaes family. Please give them my love. and have a wonderful but safe trip

Waleed,
Okay, now I must meet your parents, Shehadeh and Mary! Salim and Nora are my godfather and mother through my baptism at St. Michael's here in Beaumont. I will be close to Shweir and want to dedicate a while to simply exploring the town and learning about my history. Are your parents staying there throughout the winter?

Habib! Yella, Amo, how I wish you could guide me through the trip. I think a nice post-Christmas break in Lebanon might be the perfect trip to wind you down from the hoiday season! I would love us all to go together. Inshalla during the summer or next New Years? Miss you & love you!

Samar,

Thank you for reminding me that we all share in being the same family from the same home.

I will count the Kiame family as my own and I would be honored to meet you and your parents.

How do I find you once I get to Shweir? I will likely come on the 31st during the morning.

Very Truly Yours,
Michael Nacol

Michael,

Give them a call. They will be there: 04-391168. You can also reach my sister on her
cell: 03-672257 in case no one was at home when you call.

I spoke to them and they expect you. I think that my brother will still be there for the Christmas break (he is now in KSA), and he can take you around the town.
