Recently gas exploration is going in the desert of south east region of Saudi
Arabia. This desert region is called Empty Quarter, which means in Arabic "RAB -
UL -
KHAALEE"; this body has been found by ARAMCO exploration team. This proves what
Allah SWT said in QURAN about the people of AAD nation and HOOD nation.
They were so tall, wide and very power full that they were able to pull out big
trees just with the one hand. But what happen after when they become misguided
and disobeys Allah SWT, Allah SWT destroyed the whole nation. ULEMA KIRAM of
Saudi Arabia believes that this body belongs to AAD nation.
Saudi military took over this whole area. And nobody is allowed to go in this
region except Saudi ARAMCO personnel's. Saudi government has kept it very secret
but some military helicopters took pictures from air. And one of them he runs on
internet here in Saudi Arabia.

Dear Anwar &
shweir.com, A brief report of good actions.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will
be opened to you."
Working for and with non-profit organizations gives you the power and the
courage to ask for help from all goodhearted citizens. If you practice what you
preach, you will always find men putting hands with yours to build and help.
The Al-Berkieh Restaurant in Abu Dhabi on the 13th of December. 2002 was the
place where Shweirieh and friends gathered to support "BYTNA", the Elderly
Retirement Home. A great dinner was giving by Mr. Albert Mata, the Work
Council Chairman in
Abu Dhabi and the owner of the Al-Berkieh Restaurant to honor Workers for
Elderly and to help in building the Retirement Home, with the presence of Miss
Lebanon, Miss International, Christina Sawaya,as guest of honor, the Consul Mr.
Fadi Ziady, representing the Ambassador Mr. Hassan Berrou, Shweirieh and
friends. Mr. Tony Baroud, who was in Dubai on business, was invited to the party
where he took roll in making it livelier. Mrs. Korban went to Abu Dhabi from
Shweir to help in preparing the party and presenting
the project. The pictures will give you a better idea for that night.
Union is strength. This is what the workers for good projects believe in and work for.

Hi,
My father was really happy
to know that you recognized him. He wants you to know that he will be in Lebanon
during Eid Al Mughtarebeen and looking forward to meet you and the others.
I think Nabil Touma sent
for you the picture of Bayt AL Raha and we would appreciate if you can put it on
the web as per the request of the Is3afat.
Thank you again for
gathering all Shweirieh all over the world.
Note: By the way, I am the one in the picture wearing the Green Shirt and the other lady with the eye glasses is my friend "not from Shweir".
Fidaa

Webmaster's
Note:
Thanks for your followup message. I thought that I made a special posting
of the Bayt al Raha within half an hour after receiving photo from Nabil.
When I double checked, somehow the update was reset for an earlier
version. Sorry for the error. Hope this will be corrected this
time.
Fidaa, either my monitor is playing color
tricks on me or I missed putting the right photo, but I could not see someone
with a green shirt. Anyway hope to meet you, your dad and as many of
Shweirieh this August.
Best regards, Anwar

Subject: Is3afat Fund Raising party In Abu Dhabi
Dear Shweir.com,
We are pleased to inform you that on the 18th of May, 2001, the Shweirieh in Abu Dhabi the capital of the U.A.E, organized a party to raise funds for the new project - "Bayt Al Raha" - that is a rest house planned to be built in Dhour El Shweir to serve as a home for the elderly who will choose it in the future. This project is sponsored by "Al Is3afat Wal Khadamat Al Ahlia El Shweir" but will certainly need all the help possible from all the shweirieh and from this page we raise our voice to all who are interested in helping to contact the above mentioned association on the following numbers 009613735333 - 009613272946 - 00913270304 - 009614390779.
After the success of the party with the help of most of the shwierieh in the U.A.E, it was attended by 180 persons who all contributed in making the party a well organized one. It is worth mentioning that this event was not only attended by shweirieh but other lebanese people who saw in "Bayt El Raha" an interesting future premises that will serve as a rest house for a large sector of Lebanon and not only shweir.
As we like to share this event with all of the shweirieh >around the world, we do not see better than Shweir.com to help us reach this goal. you are kindly requested to tell us what is exactly required from us in order to show the Shweirieh some pictures of the party and the project. We await your response as soon as possible.
Thank you
Nabil Touma Sawaya

Hi Anwar,
First of all I would like to express to you, on behalf of all "Shweirieh" in the UAE, of our appreciation and admiration of the work you have done. It is so nice to feel that you are connected with all "Shweirieh" all over the world.
In the current situation that Lebanon is passing, which of course effecting Shweir as well, help is needed from outside and I think the Group Work will give the best results.
This year the party we did here was done on request of the "Is3afat" and we collected about USD 10,000. However, next year we are planning to do a bigger gathering for families for two reasons, first is to introduce all Shwierieh to each other, second the money we raise will be distributed among all "Jam3ieat" in Shweir.
Myself and Nabil Touma Sawaya, will be working on the Paragrah, pictures and captions this week and will email to you.
Thank you again.

Thank you Fidaa for your kind words.
Doesn't it feel good to be part of a team and celebrate its achievements?
Congratulations on raising $10,000 to help Shweir. That is impressive. It
is even better when you do it by holding a party where
everybody has a good time.
As I send this to you, our team of Shweirieh in Texas are meeting to finalize documents to establish a non profit organization under the name of Shweir Foundation, Inc ... By having such a non profit org, Donors will be exempt from taxes and can save as much as 20 - 30 % on the donations. It also ads legitimacy to the organization. ...
.... Please send photos in Jpeg format and include captions and detail description to identify any recognizable persons. ...
I look forward to receiving your photos and info and post them on the web.
Your UAE Shweiry team is an inspiration to many Shweirys around the world.
On behalf of our/your team at Shweir.com,
Anwar

Its hard to live here without feeling 4 seasons passing in the year! We can only
feel summer which is too hot its about 60 degrees!
I go to Shweir every year and I love the weather over there its warm and kinda
chilly!
But the sad thing is I don't know anyone!
I feel lonely and down!
The summer passes by and I go back to School!
So that is all i have to say and hope u enjoyed my story!

Lama
This is a very good start, we are so privileged to have you share your inner
thoughts with us. There are very few places in the world that truly have 4
seasons and Texas is not one of them. Two days ago I was working outside in my
shorts, Today it is so cold that I had to wear my skiing outfit, gloves and all.
Tomorrow it will be warm enough to wear short sleeve shirt. Sounds like a high
security Turkish Prison, they pour hot water on you followed by icy water.
Wait until the summer The Hurricane Season Begins.
Lama, welcome to the bulletin Board, hopefully you will take this an extra step and tell us about the schools, shopping, what do you do on the weekend? Is Momma's Tabuli good? Better than Teta's? Does Daddy fix Lahim Mishwee aa fahim, or mommy does it? How is your little Najib doing lately? is he still naughty?
Every week write about something different and you are going to find out you will have many friends writing you back. I know I will.
You told me you used to write stories, here's your chance. Write some of your stories, maybe the Web master will open a new page for our Talented Young Shweirieh, And if he does, Lama will be given the full credit for starting it
Hey Everybody, Lama is one of my Favorite Shweirieh, Unlike a lot of you she always check on me and sends me emails.

lama,
I have a thirteen year old daughter, but life in the US is different than the Arab world. I will try to have her e-mail you but she may say she is busy. School here takes a lot of time and the after-school activities as well as studying take up the rest.
I understand that it must be difficult for you being a Lebanese girl in the UAE, but how about school? What are your favorite subjects in school? do you like to read and what? Do you play a musical instrument or what other hobbies or sports you participate in that will occupy your time.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Where would like to live?
You don't have to answer these questions on the bulliten board but think about them...and if you come across an interesting book, tell us about it, if mom agrees...
Hilda
A world that is very hectic! but not entertaining!
Posted by lama katoul on January 12, 2001 at 08:20:04:
As I said I would continue and I would contribute imaginative stories soon!
Life in the Emirates is hectic but not that entertaining.
Living here is kind of good because you meet people from different countries that have different culture traditions and so on!
I have friends from different countries but we understand each other a lot!
I know these friends since Kg and they are very helpful and supportive!
Our teachers in school are very nice adults an example that every student should look up to! Our teachers offer all there love and knowledge to make us the best students between all! Like people say “Behind every successful teacher comes a successful teacher!” That is how we are in school all the girls are like this but the boys aren’t they don’t care if they study or not and that is what spoils the environment in our class! All the girls in my class have their future planned and going for their goals so am I!
I really love reading my favorites are mysteries and stories that people go through!
I do read magazines I love music and singing and dancing and writing stories and I love helping people!
My favorite subjects in school are science, geometry ,french, art ,and P.E!
I have 5 best friends who are Leen, Esraa, Dana, Neeyand, and Maria.
I have written stories and poems and hopefully soon will be sharing them with you!
I do go to the movies and I go shopping with my mom!
I have entered a volleyball team and played for my school in a tournament and our school took 3rd place!
I am now reading 2 books which are “Chicken soup for the couples soul!” and “The treasured writings of Khalil Jibran “
When I grow up I want to be a mental doctor so I could help people and their problems!
I hope you enjoyed what you just read and I soon will be contributing imaginative stories!

I am the daughter of Raymond Elias Choueri and Dolly Rucker. My father is the son of Elias Choueri and Najla Gobreil from Dhour Schweir, my mother is Greet/Austrian. My parents married and moved to Beirut, I am the third of four children. Iam single, and have been living in Dubai for the past five years and work with a Canadian Real Estate Company as Commercial Manager. I was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved back when I was five to Beirut and have been back many times. Our side of the Choueri family tree are Greek Orthodox and are related to the Choueri/Moujaes families. I would love to hear from everyone out there from our original home town!
